Venus Parkview Hotel was founded by Mrs. Venus Kabingue in 1974, hence the name Venus. She established the hotel with the vision of providing an affordable place for tourists visiting Baguio. Initially known as a resort and hotel, it catered to just under a hundred guests.
In 1977, the Villanueva Family, led by Mr. Teofilo and Mrs. Genoveva Villanueva, acquired the hotel. They chose to retain its original name in recognition of its growing reputation and as a tribute to its former owners.
That same year, the hotel faced a significant setback due to a fire that left the property in need of a complete rebuild. Undeterred, the Villanueva Family decided to reconstruct the hotel and entrusted its management to the second generation. Over the years, renovations and updates have transformed the hotel into what it is today, featuring modern amenities such as High-Speed Wireless Internet, Closed Circuit Television Cameras (CCTVs), High-Definition Cable Television, and versatile event venues.
